June 15th Just Passed, Here's What It Actually Means
If you're a 2028 family, this week probably felt like a big deal and it is. But I want you to take a breath for a second.
Yes, June 15th is a significant milestone. Yes, D1 coaches can now contact your athlete directly for the first time. And yes, Nationals is right around the corner. It can feel like everything is happening at once and if you're not moving at 100 miles an hour you're already behind.
Here's what I want you to remember: you still have time.
This is the peak of the recruiting calendar, not the end of it. The families who navigate this period best aren't the ones who panic they're the ones who stay organized, communicate consistently, and trust the process. One week of action won't make or break your recruiting journey. What matters is what you do consistently over the next several months.
So yes, move with urgency. Respond to coaches, update your profiles, get your Nationals schedule out. But don't let the noise of this week convince you that you've already missed something. You haven't.
Stay focused. Stay consistent. You've got this. 👏
