Advice to other athletes navigating their recruiting journey: “Trust the process and keep your options open. I know it’s hard to hear, ‘Just trust that things will work out,’ it was hard for me too. But things really do work out, sometimes in ways you would never expect. Keep working hard, sending your emails, and putting yourself out there. Most importantly don’t close yourself to any opportunity too early. Give yourself the time to find the place that truly feels like home.”

Amanda Dadio verbally committed to Georgetown University (Big East) for fall 2028. “Working with Taylor and the Parallel Recruiting Initiative team has been an incredible experience and has played a major role in helping me achieve my goal of playing NCAA Division I volleyball. As a rising high school junior, their guidance and support throughout the recruiting process helped me to connect with the right opportunities and ultimately receive and accept an offer to a Division I program. I’m extremely grateful for everything they have done to help me get to this point, and I’m excited to continue developing as a player over the next two years before beginning my collegiate career.” Amanda is a 2028 setter at Paramount Volleyball Club. She plans to study Business Adiminstration/Sports Industry Management. She chose Georgetown because “its competitive culture, both on the court and in the classroom. From the first time I worked with the coaching staff (at camp), I felt welcomed and could tell how much they value competition, hard work, and building genuine relationships with their players. Georgetown’s tradition of competing at the highest level in the Big East, combined with its strong academics and incredible alumni network, made it the perfect fit for me.” We are so excited for you, Amanda!
