Always Try and Make Progress
One of the big mistakes athletes and families make is letting college coaches run their process for them. This comes across in several different ways, but this notion of, “I’ll wait for them to email me back,” is what I like to refer to ass “reactive recruiting.”
It’s one of the biggest ways you can fall through the cracks in the recruiting process.
You should be trying to make progress towards your goal of getting an offer. That takes texts, emails, phone calls and visits. You need some sort of plan in place or even a timeline.
If you want to be committed by the start of your 17s club season, that’s a great goal. What are you willing to do in order to make that goal happen?
